Infosys - Living An Indian Dream

Before I begin I must clarify that I am in no way related to Infosys. I never worked for it nor do I own any of its equity. It is my account of what I know as a common Indian. Infosys as an organization commands a high respect in every sense one can think of. Being an Indian I am really proud of it. What is great about Infosys is not that its founders converted 250 dollars into the billion dollar behemoth it is today but the value system it has preserved over the years. Recently I was reading an interesting account on highly successful companies which have lasted more than a century. The author concluded that all of those companies share among them a total dedication to their values. They held onto them even in odd times and were ready to give up their profits for it. It gave them the agility to survive the ever changing business paradigms. In this competitive world of deceit, lie and profit mongers how is it possible to hold on to some idealistic principles? But I guess organizat
